To promote the release of Easy’s Heatshock they, along with Saintwoods and MOOG Audio, have launched a full fledged remix competition!
‘Heatshock’ is a little difficult to put in words. Like the band itself, it’s filled with so many different influences that it’s hard to really categorize. Full of rock n’ roll love, ‘Heatshock’ drives forward along a synthy highway littered by bassy pot holes and piercing vocals. Somehow the soothing synthesized melody in tandem with chaotic guitar riffs form an anthem perfect nightclubs or, for that matter, 150,000 person festivals.

As for the competition, it’s easy: make a remix.
Just grab the stems from Soundcloud, lock the door to your basement and forge out what you can by August 31st.
When you’re done, drop it off in Saintwood’s Dropbox.
1st place will receive a copy of Ableton Live Intro from the lovely folks at MOOG Audio and an appearance of your remix on the official Heatshock EP.
3 runner-ups won’t be getting any free software, but a chance at stardom with their remixes also appearing on the official release.
