This week I’ve been going essentially nuts over Broken Bells. This super duo consisting of legendary producer Danger Mouse (Grey Album, DANGERDOOM, Gnarls Barkley) and James Mercer (The Shins) have put together possibly the best indie pop single, of all time. I understand how bold a statement that is; you can’t deny the beauty of this track.
‘The High Road’ was released blip by blip via their Youtube channel with an official premier yesterday on Myspace, but was already available unnoticed on their Vevo page. This isn’t the first odd leak to hit Broken Bells as the self-titled album was leaked earlier this month. We can’t tell you where to find it, but we can tell you it’s brilliant. Definitely picking up one of these.
