You Can Tell By The Way I Use My Walk

I’ve always wanted Stayin’ Alive to be somehow incorporated into a set, but the BPM is always too low to make sense of anything – so i jacked up the BPM to 125, added a little bassline, some kicks, some claps and a few filters to try and segue this classic into the realm of funky bangers. Tell me what y’alls think/use it use it use it.

    Nice choice.
Fo one thing, please use better time stretching. If you using live then choose complex mode over “beat 16″ or whatever you have there by default, it sounds quite horrible now. Ofc there’s even better algorithms available, dunno why people haven’t learned this yet.

The outro could be better. Lo-pass filter sweep intros are quite hard to mix in, too, at least imo.

I love it. Just wish it was better bitrate. You got something higher i can get?

nothing higher i’m afraid; i just wanted to make a quick edit so i used a low bitrate mp3 i had sitting on my computer to make this, i didn’t really think that through.

i like what your tryin to do. the bass note should return to the root note of the song during the chorus though. it kinda confuses me because im expecting the bass to resolve back to one but it just stays up and creates some tension during the chorus. good stuff tho

why does EVERYthing have to be between 125-133??? jus drop the OG!!! and yeah i agree with two above posters: low pass is sometimes very hard to mix in, maybe standard intro into your lowpass sweep?? and also hard to “use it use it use it” with low bitrate……all this said it is better than i thought it would be!!
