Two things I didn’t know: (a) The Knife was on a break (b) Karin Andersson (one half of The Knife) started a solo project by the name of Fever Ray.
A remix of the single ‘When I Grow Up’ Dan Lissvik has been floating around. A funky-bassy remix filled with pan flutes, acoustic guitars and space shots — something that really jives with Karin’s vocals, but not something that The Knife really explored. The lyrics of course, are just as odd as The Knife. A great collaboration.
