A new advert for Adidas Originals surfaced just at the end of the 2008 featuring some pretty big names in the entertainment industry including David Beckham, Katy Perry, Kevin Garnett, Missy Elliott, and Mark Gonzales as well as others not on the officially list. 2009’s campaign seems to have Adidas working its way into the hipster crowd as best as it can to compete with Nike and all those other flashy sneaker designers by petitioning artists like The Ting Tings and Estelle (also in the video) with exclusive content on their website. I can’t really tell you if this kind of embedded advertising works, but I must confess, I own a pair of Adidas.
The advert features a great track ‘Beggin’ by Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons which was original composed by Bob Gaudio and Peggy Farina in 1967. The Adidas cut uses an updated edit of the track by Pilooski which even had it’s own series of music videos prior to the advert; one for WEA Music and another for 679 Recordings.

Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons – Beggin’ (Pilooski Re-Edit)

yeah , that commercial is awesome..
love the party atmosphere and the colours and camera angles..
of course that song perfectly fits the “originals” style
Hi Everyone,
If you like the song for the Adidas Originals House Party, it was made originally by Frankie Valli and it’s called Beggin. The song was remix by Pelooski. Other remix versions where also created by Boogie Studio for the web videos.
If anyone wants to hear the proposed remix created for web videos, feel free to check them out at:
