Zero (MSTRKRFT Remix)

27Mar09

When I said there would be remixes of ‘Zero’ I meant it. So far the only thing that’s really claimed my attention is the MSTRKRFT remix which appeared in our mail box yesterday morning in iMeem format. Ya sorry kids, no download, but you’re really not missing anything.

First off, I don’t really understand how this is a remix — the vocals from the chorus are used for about 20 seconds during the whole track with the rest being a vocal sample of Karen saying “no” or something. Second, the arrangement of the song itself just seems to be all over the place; loud and abrasive at times and then suddenly serene.

I think the drugs are finally getting to them folks.

Yah dude I gotta agree the track is tight as fuck. This is why I love MSTRKRFT, if the drugs are causing this let’em do their work
