Edmond Huszar and Will Steep make up the MC/producer duo known as TheGirlsCanHearUs! hailing from London, Ontario. Their name is derived from one of the dude’s apartment. Apparently the ladies up stairs could hear everything that was said and goes on via a shitty old vent.
‘I Know This Song’ builds so slowly as a simple hiphop track with a simple beat eventually accompanied by a piano, arpeggios and soft synths before exploding into a full blown banger.

TheGirlsCanHearUs! – I Know This Song Don’t miss this track.
‘Now Move’ is a faster track with more electronic elements which beckons a listen.

I’m really impressed by these guys. Check out their myspace for more. I suggest giving a listen to ‘On The Low’ while you’re there.

I’m never too impressed by white rappers. I don’t know what it is, but it doesn’t seem natural to me?
These guys are pretty sick, the beats and the rhymes go together extremely well. Regardless of the guy’s skin colour, he’s got some sick lines (“you’re about to get bootfuc*ed, i straighten motherfuc*ers out like a crew cut”). They’re playing in Guelph on March 4 at Van Gogh’s, so anyone there should definately check’em out.
Agreed. Regardless of skin colour, he has flow and can put some interesting lines together! I enjoy the music just as much as I enjoy the vocals. I also love the fact they are somewhat localish (London, Ontario), and can only hope for these guys to pump out some more bangin tunes!
mmmm I can hear them.
I am now in luff with the tracks…and them.
I’m definitely a fan of I Know This Song. Great pick
The build up in “I know this song” is epic,
that combined with the lyrics made it so worth while.
