Fakeblood Remixin

01Dec08

We hear at THE DOCKING STATION really do love Fake Blood, so it’s awfully concerning when we missed the last few gems Sang (or Theo Keating) dropped in the dance blog music world.

First up is last weeks release of Hot Chip’s ‘Touch Too Much,’ changing the pace of Fake’s work, remixing a softer more melodic track. Sang holds true to his image with the iconic vocal “Fake Blood” reworking, breakish drums, elemental trance-like break downs and wobbly bass.

Next up is a remix of Armand Van Helden’s ‘I Want Your Soul,’ giving the seasoned electro producer a lesson in “banger.”

Last but never least we’ve got UNKLE. The group that once included DJ Shadow got a lot attention this year with the release More Stories. Fake Blood gives ‘em some blog haus steet-styled rep this classic Sang reworking. FAKE BLOOD!

I’m loving the armand van helden mix, would anyone know how the slowed down effect in the song is created?
