Producer Kevin Rudolf notably known for his work with artists like Nelly Furtado, Britney Spears, and Timbaland recently decided to give singing and songwriting a try. His current hit, ‘Let It Rock’ features the one and only Lil’ Wayne which is no surprise considering that Kevin is on Lil Wayne and Birdman’s Cash Money Records. I love how the music video features mostly Wayne instead of Kevin (why doesn’t Universal allow embedding?). Any else notice how Wayne is dressing? It’s very LA of him.
San Hose’s DJ Kue (pictured above) who brought us the amazing remix of ‘Low Rider’ and a ton of other bootlegs from before, remixed Rudolf for our pleasure. This is definitely a club remix. With a touch of fidget, Kue delivers a darker harder hitting track chopping up the vocals, but holding true to the original arrangement by including Lil Wayne’s verse.
