Brooklyn indie rock darlings Au Revoir Simone will be releasing a star-studded remix album on November 11th. Reverse Migration will feature remixes from The Teenagers, Darkel of AIR, Montag, Best Fwends, Hot Chip’s Alexis Taylor, Pacific! and more.
Motivated by their love for keyboards and vintage drum machines, Heather D’Angelo, Erika Forster, and Annie Hart made their worldwide debut in late 2005 with the sweet synth pop mini-album Verses of Comfort, Assurance and Salvation, before following up with 2007’s critically-revered debut LP, The Bird of Music.
Track 10 from Reverse Migration is a standout hit from The Bird of Music remixed by Beligum’s Ruff and Jam. Their remix of ‘Lark’ debuted yesterday (Oct. 6th) on Stereogum.
