What Dreams Are Made Of v2.0

26Sep08

Code-D of The American Dream Team returns to DOCKSTA with another great mix, in what appears to be a series entitled What Dreams Are Made Of. They deliver again once more with a never ending party mix that is sure to make you dance around like a complete fool.

The mix features great new (and old) favourites as well as TADT’s own tracks like the brand new ‘Money’ / ‘The American Dream’ remix featuring Whiskey Pete and Andre Parnel, an awesome remix of Katy Perry’s new single ‘Hot N Cold’ and a new unreleased original, ‘Listen 2 The Music’.

One thing I love about Code-D, is his raw ability to change-up while sticking with a particular style. As a DJ myself I must admit the electronic genre can get boring — boring to mix and boring to hear. A lot of it is all the same or very similar, including mixing styles. Code’s tracklisting is definitely electro-orientated but he doesn’t stray from other genres, just look at the stuff he produces. The mix is simply filled with vocal electro-house that could keep everyone moving in a club and an attentive listener at home keenly bouncing. Oh, and he can scratch like a mother fucker too.

This a project I’m very honestly excited to hear more from. I can’t wait to get my hands on all their unreleased joints.
