Ohhh, how I love Johnny Cash. This track caught my eye because I’m a huge Johnny fan and even though it’s not a banger for dance parties, it’s a nice little remix of a classic Johnny track. Apparently Troublemaker was asked by John Carter Cash, son of Johnny Cash, to select one of the Sun Recordings songs and remix it from the original stereo master. As Trouble stated:
I ended up losing my mind on this one, as noted in a couple blog reviews.
…He ended up completing it and in a respectful manner.
So take a listen to Troublemaker’s nice 8-bit remix of ‘Straight A’s in Love’ and if you enjoy what you hear…Johnny Cash Remixed is due out October 14th on Compadre Records.
