THE DOCKING STATION

We first heard about the epic “sample-pop” DJ Donna Summer sometime ago, infact, it was in February when DOCKSTA had just launched. Since then we’ve moved servers and host our own MP3s because zShare and other such file hosts are unreliable.

Anyways, after browsing through Palms Out, I came across a new remix of his. Turned out be one of my favourite rock anthems (if you can call it that): Manfred Mann’s Earth Band’s cover of Bruce Springsteen’s ‘Blinded By The Light.’ I love how this guy always remixes popular rock music.

Just cause we don’t have those files hosted anymore, I’m going to repost the Sheryl Crow and Guns N’ Roses remixes because they are just as good as Manfred’s (if not better) and deserve the appropriate amount of love that I’m sure The Hype Machine will generate.

The first show I ever played live, the 3rd or 4th song I busted out was the Guns remix — everyone went buck wild. Show this guy some McMyspace lovin’.
