Two years old, Young Lords outta NYC has put together 10 tracks to form their debut LP “Rodeo Songs.”
Once and awhile we get a good little indie/rock album or track that we enjoy posting here on THE DOCKING STATION just switch things up. Young Lords, are a particular pleasure to receive in our mailbox.
I personally grew up with a lot of folk and rock music, cementing my taste, but even if you never really learned to appreciate the folk or country genres, Young Lords will persuade you. They could be easily compared to something like Modest Mouse in a Pitchfork review, but I don’t want to do that.
Give them a listen, and see if you like it.
Their album “Rodeo Songs” will be out October 7th.
