Telepathique is following in the foot steps of other Brazilian club stars CSS and Bonde do Role by making a big splash here in NA, formulating their own brand of grooving guitars and compu-beats on forthcoming their debut, “Last Time on Earth.”
DJ/producer/drummer Erico Theobaldo and vocalist Mylene Pires mix robo-beats, screeching, sharp guitars, and bits of house, electro, baile funk, and bossa nova rhythms with Pires’ Portuguese-English monotonous blurts. Telepathique’s debut full-length, Last Time on Earth, which dropped in Brazil in 2006, is now available stateside.
