Experimental Jazz Meets XXXChange

09May08

California seems like a strange place to be. I’ve never been, but the music that comes out of a place that holds the same amount of people as Canada, gives Cali one hell of an eclectic selection of genres and tunes.

One of those little weird groups, Daedelus (Alfred Darlington), pumps out jazzy, break-inspired beats with heavy sampling. Makes sense that he shares the same label as Amon Tobin and Blockhead, Ninjatune.

Off Daedelus’ new album “Love To Make Music To” the track ‘Make It So’ has been remixed by XXXChange. Triple-X has done a good job of making Daedelus a little bit more mainstream whilst still maintaining the mans sound.

The new album is slated for a June release this year. You can pick it up at the Ninjashop or from Daedelus’ site when it’s out.
