Gonzales, best known for his oddly flavoured pop, got the reworking treatment from Germany’s Boys Noize and France’s Teki Latex.
Gonzales has a unique history with music. As a Canadian, he went to McGill university where he trained as a classical pianist. In the 1990s, he was the lead of an alternative rock band by the name of Son, which even opened for the Barenaked Ladies. After Son, the man went solo producing some heavy electro-themed MC-based albums.
The single ‘Let’s Ride’ featured some heavy Canadian talent such as Peaches and Feist, as well as Princess Superstar.
