I gotta say, I love the Australian family duo Bumblebeez. After hearing the track (and seeing the video for) Dr. Love I went hunting for everything Bumblebeez. It wasn’t easy. I discovered there was a name change involved and there was no formal North American release I could get my hands on. Eventually with time, someone uploaded ‘Dr. Love’ on a blog and it blew up (see: Crookers remix). At least I get my Beez now.
Anyways, da Beez have a new album in the works. Two singles have surfaced so far: ‘Rio’ and ‘Pump Up The Bass’. The EP for Rio is out and floating around in Europe and Australia with remixes from Crookers, Herve and Etienne de Crécy. The second single has been redone by Mehdi and Busy P of blog Kings Ed Banger.
Once again, I’m looking forward to a fucking North American release to pimp this shit live on CKCU. I don’t buy CDs anymore too so… come on Juno Download, Get snappy!
