Italian Benny Benassi, born in Milan and currently residing in Reggio Emilia, is a sick producer/dj bringing the world a mixture of electro, house and techno, dropping phat BASS for us to all move to. After about 10 good years of djing clubs around Italy, Benny B satisfied the world with his bangin’, infamous track Satisfaction in 2003 – I know you’ve all heard it! (and maybe gotten freaky to it…on the dance floor…or in the backseat of a honda civic). This track and many other Benassi beats have been blasted on my front lawn for street dance parties in my early-teen years…and oh they were some sweet, dance-filled times!
Enough about me, more about Benny…
He has collaborated with many, even his own cousin Alle Benassi, with whom he began the sick duo known as Benassi Bros, which they produced such tracks as Illusion and Hit My Heart.
Benny B also has many awards under his belt, his most recent being a 2008 Grammy for Best Remix for the Public Enemy track Bring the Noise.
