I don’t know any Latin languages so I don’t know what this shit is named after. Calabria is a region of Italy, a tasty salami and god knows what else. Ironically, it all came from Denmark.
When I first learned that Enur (or whatever he calls himself now) was a white-pasty like myself, I was a little confused. For a track originally released in 2003, the Jamaican beat re-edit did a number on 2007 with the help of vocalist Natasja.
The track’s been played, remixed and sampled obsessively. Certainly something that’ll continue to be played around the world, especially with the mounds of other well known talent having their own take at it.
